The ceremonial opening of the festival ended with fireworks over Zlín

The bright sky ended yesterday’s first day of the festival. The colorful fire-show with impressive music was the highlight of yesterday’s opening ceremony of the 62nd Zlin Film Festival. During it, Czech actor Pavel Zednicek took over the Golden Slipper, an award for extraordinary contribution to the cinematography for children and youth. Viewers then had the opportunity to see a screening of the German film named The Path of Courage.
