Program tips for Saturday 1.6.
The last day of the Zlín Film Festival traditionally belongs to sport. On Saturday afternoon, the fourth year of the Festival Half-Marathon will take place; it will be preceded by a family run and the Černí Koně children's hand bike race. In total, over two thousand runners, both big and small, will run the course. The last four screenings will take place at the cinema, presenting the winning films from the competition for children, for youth, the winner of the audience award, and the best European debut. The Outdoor Cinema will screen the Oscar-winning film The Green Book. A program has been prepared in the Theater and Chateau Zones; the Festival Chateau invites you to come for a visit and to see the exhibitions of the supporting festival program.
THE MOST IMPORTANT EVENTS OF THE NINTH OF THE DAY:
MONET + Zlin 2019 Festival Half Marathon , Namesti Miru Square
- The 4th year of the run race in categories: half marathon (21,097 km), quarter marathon (10.5 km), four-member relay (4x 5.25 km)

Festival ING Family Run:
- Family run for 1400 m. A running race that harks back to the tradition of the Bata runs from the first half of the 20th century. Proceeds from this race are donated by the festival's partner, ING, to the Černí Koně organization to buy children's hand bikes.

Famous Black pianist Dr. Don Shirley hires him as a driver and bodyguard on a tour of the wild American South of the 1960s.

The World of The Painted Bird – the opening of a unique exhibition and a discussion with Václav Marhoul about the new Czech film The Painted Bird, starring Hollywood stars Harvey Keitel and Stellan Skarsgård. Large-format photographs of Jan Dobrovský, original director's background for filming (storyboards, script, books, etc.). Zlín Department Store, café on the 2nd floor, 7 pm - 9 pm The exhibition will last until June 1.
Zdena Fibichová (1933–1991) - Between Fragility and Monumentality - the exhibition not only presents a selection of his sculptural works, but also the author's drawings. Zlín Chateau, Václav Chad Gallery, 9 am - 5 pm. The exhibition will last until June 8.
Josef Pinkava – The Most Beautiful Years of My Life – the exhibtion includes a set of unedited photographs and clips from Josef Pinkava's films, one of the pioneers of films for children and youth, e.g. Holidays with Mina, Chubby, and I Wouldn't Leave Tereza for Any Other Girl. Cafe Továrna, 10 am - 11 pm. The exhibition will last until June 16.
