Film submissions for 58th Zlín Film Festival have been opened on October 1, 2017! 

We are looking for:

-          FEATURE FILMS FOR CHILDREN
-          FEATURE FILMS FOR YOUTH
-          SHORT ANIMATIONS FOR CHILDREN
-          EUROPEAN FEATURE LIVE-ACTION FIRST FILMS
-          FEATURE DOCUMENTARY FILMS FOR YOUNG AUDIENCE
-          STUDENT FILMS (LIVE-ACTION, ANIMATION, DOCUMENTARY)

Out of the past 57th Zlín Film Festival 2017

In case you are not familiar with our festival or you wish just to remind the atmosphere of the last issue of ZFF you can watch a short video.

Film delegations

Zlín welcomed delegations to 68 films from all categories. Directors, actors, screenwriters and other film professionals from India, Israel, Sweden, Canada, Iran, Belgium, Japan, Switzerland, Spain, Iceland, Cyprus and other countries became a dear part of the festival. 

The festival exceeded all expectations. The lineup was fantastic and we were so thrilled to meet so many talented filmmakers and industry influencers from around the globe“

Days of Czechoslovakian Cinema and Austrian films showcase in 2018

Film and supporting festival programme will celebrate 100th anniversary of foundation of Czechoslovakia. Famous fairy tales, award-winning children´s films, films of our childhood, unforgettable TV shows for whole family and other film attractions coming up to Zlín. We will remember immortal film music from Czechoslovakian films and TV shows for children. 

Austria will commemorate the same anniversary of the republic foundation. The festival programme will therefore consists also of Austrian films for children and youth including documentaries and short films.
