With a calm conscience it can be said that Ota Hofman, chief dramaturge and screenwriter of the Barrandov Film Studio, was a master of his field. Like every single author, Ota Hofman had his own process and way of achieving a desired outcome. This masterclass on Ota Hofman's work will take the form of a meeting accompanied by a screening of photos and short video clips in which visitors will see the differences between the script and the film and the creative process in making classic Czech children's films for children and young people – takin into account the works presented during the ZFF in this year's retrospective. The masterclass will be led by Ondřej Slanina, the author of the monograph Ota Hofman - Pilgrim of Fantasy, Filmmaker and Writer.
