Great Britain, in any sport. Try and try again, he never becomes good at any of them and his dream slowly fades. But then it occurs to him to become a ski jumper, because the UK doesn't have a lot of them. So he sets off to the Alps to try learn from the best on how to do it. But after a series of painful falls he realizes that he can't do it without a coach. That's when Bronson Peary steps in. He's the handyman at the winter resort, a fighter, a drinker, and also former ski jumper who had been kicked off the US Olympic team. He decides to take Eddie under his wing and get him to the 1988 Calgary Olympics.
