(CZE, 2016, 101 min., director: Radek Bajgar)
A road movie about a man in his 60s who recalls having dreams and a will of his own; he now wants his own life back. Risking everything, he embarks on a perilous journey. The story is also of a woman who's always meant well – for her marriage and for her husband she's selflessly assumed responsibility for things men are unable to do: "They are like tigers: it values its teeth, it hunts, runs here and there, bites.. but it's not very adapted for practical life. You've got to tame, feed and domesticate him." His revolt destabilizes the given family order of their children as well. Though the younger generation has modern ideas on gender roles, the devastating family strategy of transforming tigers into rabbits has deeply embedded roots.
