The concert of the symphony orchestra with film screenings entitled „Film Melodies by Ondřej Soukup“ is part of the celebrations of the 90th anniversary of Barrandov Studio. The famous melodies of O. Soukup, author of music for many of Czech and foreign series and films, will be performed by Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic at Congress Center Zlín. Music from movies such as Kolja, Empties, Requiem for a Maiden, Accumulator 1 and also from The Unclear Message at the End of the World and Dark Blue World will be performed. The author´s concert, which was originally prepared for the screening at the International Film Music and Multimedia Festival SOUNDTRACK Poděbrady, will bring a cross-section of Mr. Soukup´s most famous films in the combination of music and screenings.
