(USA/Canada, 2016, 108 min., director: Tim Miller)
Before becoming Deadpool, Wade Wilson was a former member of the special forces. When he's diagnosed as having an advanced stage of cancer, he undergoes an experimental treatment under the Weapon X program, known and popular especially among the X-men mutants. The treatment not only cures Wade's cancer and keeps him alive, but as a bonus it's given him the ability to quickly heal himself. Unfortunately, unlike Wolverine, who managed to remain fairly sexy after similar treatment, Wade ends up permanently disfigured. In his own words. he looks as if "an avocado had sex with an older avocado". He therefor assumes the costumed alter ego of Deadpool.
Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the venue.
