Biography
Paolo Gaudio, born in 1981, is a director and screenwriter. In 2003 he graduated with a degree in Philosophy from Unical (University of Calabria) and two years later he graduated with a degree in Motion-Picture Direction from NUCT (New University of Cinema and Television) in Rome. Author of short films in the fantasy genre, he has been involved for years experimenting with animation techniques such as stop-motion, cut-out animation, and computer graphics. Fantasticherie di un Passeggiatore Solitario marked his feature film debut. With this movie he won the Grand Prix at La Samain du Cinema Fantastique in 2014 and in 2015 he won the Best World Film Award at Boston Science Fiction Film Festival, the Audience Award at the Fantastic Cinema Festival at Little Rock and the remarkable Mario Bava Award for Best Debut Film at the 35th FantaFestival at Rome.This film is a part of the set Short Animations 3.
