Lisa and the Sabretoothed Tiger (1995)
Eight-year-old Lisa is an orphan. She’s excited when she hears she will be adopted. What Lisa does not know is that her “new parents” Eva and Martin are planning to split up and are waiting until the adoption goes through before they file for divorce. At first, she’s busy with her new life, school, friend, and home, as well as the Museum of Natural History, where her best friend the saber-toothed tiger lives. But she soon sees Martin coming out of an advertising studio arm in arm with a model and, disappointed, packs her things and runs away.
