Kai (2016)
From the icy lake of the Snow Queen, the adventure of Kai is about to begin! In grasslands of Central Asia, the brother and sister Kai and Shamui are running over a snow-covered mountain chased by the wolves. Suddenly, they get swept away by a massive avalanche and only Kai gets rescued by their mother and the tribe. Shamui is lost in the icy lake of the Hattan, the notorious Snow Queen. Eight years later, the attacks from the wolves and Hattan get severe and Kai decides to become a warrior and protect his village. For his sister and the whole tribe, Kai’s brave adventure against the Snow Queen begins.

Biography
A South Korean screenwriter and director, he studied psychology at Yonsei University. He started out as an animator. He's made short and feature-length animated films, e.g. My Beautiful Girl, Mari (Mariiyagi, 2002) and Yobi, the Five Tailed Fox (Cheonnyeon-yeowoo Yeowoobi, 2007). His live-acted debut was the romance Texture of Skin (Sal-gyeol, 2005).
