Biography

A director and screenwriter, he graduated from the Swedish Film Institute and debuted with the feature film A Swedish Love Story (En kärlekshistoria, 1970). After a number of short works and commercials, he gained attention for his award-winning films Songs from the Second Floor (Sånger från andra våningen, 2000) and You, the Living (Du levande, 2006).
