The Visitors (1983)
It's the year 2484 and the computer CBH (Central Brain of Humanity) detects an unknown object whose collision with the Earth may have disastrous consequences. The academic Richard recalls a great scholar of the 20th century named Adam Bernau, who had discovered a principle for moving continents when he was yet a young boy and he recorded it in his school notebooks. Thus a scientific expedition led by the scholar Richard sets out on a journey back in time...

Biography
A Czech film director and screenwriter and standard in Czech sci-fi and children's films. He led with the feature western Death in the Saddle (Smrt v sedle, 1958) and also directed the sci-fi film Icarus XB 1(Ikarie XB 1, 1963), drama Riders in the Sky (Nebeští jezdci, 1968) and crime drama Death on the Road (Smrt stopařek, 1979). He won points with children with the TV series Pan Tau (1969-1978), Visitors (Návštěvníci, 1983) and The Octopuses from the Second Floor (Chobotnice z II. patra, 1986).
