Abby (16) lives a quiet life in a small coastal American town. She skateboards, hangs out with her friends, and enjoys music. She lives with her mother, recovering from a break-up with Abby's father. The peace is shattered by the arrival of a punk band whose lead singer, Dave, charms the girl. The affection is mutual. Moreover, Dave supports her dream of becoming a singer, convincing her to go on tour with them. It's all she’s ever hoped for.
