Beloved son (2021)
A mother and son need balance in their relationship. After her husband dies, a mother babies her son and protects him from anything dangerous – she's afraid of losing him. Her behavior is becoming pathological and completely runs her son's life. Her maternal care becomes fanatical. An adult, the son can't get away from his mother. He longs for another life, but fears the guilt of abandoning his mother. Only self-destructive behavior can resolve his internal conflict and frustration.

Biography
Director from Kazakhstan. She graduated in filmmaking from the Kazakh National Academy of Arts T. Zhurgenov in Almaty, and later studied Theory and Practice of Audiovisual Production at FAMO in Písek. She making her feature film debut with Beloved Son (Milovaný syn, 2021).
