Biography

An American director and comic book lover with a passion for the blues. He began with the documentaries Louie Bluie (1985) and Crumb (1994). He made his feature film debut with the dramatic comedy Ghost World (2000), and also directed Bad Santa (2003) and Art School Confidential (2006).
