Milan Rastislav Štefánik predated Indiana Jones. The first Slovak to travel around the world, he defeated Mont Blanc several times, and survived the downing of his aircraft in WWI. He was at the birth of Czechoslovakia. An intellectual, national hero, lover of women, and a bon vivant. He was keen on astronomy, he took photos of the first Czechoslovak act in Tahiti… He focused on pursuing his dreams and goals despite all obstacles. At the end of it, he met the love of his life.

Biography
Graduated from the Zlín Film School and in animation at FAMU. He collaborated on the production of the film Alois Nebel (2011). He has made the short films Lost Danaus (Ztracený Danaus, 1997), The Great Sneezer (Velký Kýchač, 2001), and Wildlife Crossing! (Pozor zvěř!, 2015). He made his feature film debut with the drama The Impossible Voyage (Cesta do nemožna, 2019).
