Hungry Bear Tales (2020)
Two bears, big Nedvyed and little Mishka. undertake the craziest of adventures in order to fill their eternally hungry bellies as easily as possible. They cook or taste truffles together, in the summer they celebrate Christmas, which they sleep through every winter. And they even host a huge feast for bears from all over the world. Do you want to know how they actually met and how they solve their quarrels? Hooray for the bears! BIOGRAPHY They both studied animation at FAMU. Karhánek's films The New Species (Nový druh, 2014) and Fruits of Clouds (Plody mraků, 2017) gained worldwide recognition, as did the films Swimming Pool (2010) and Mythopolis (2013) from the Májová workshop. Together they directed the short films Blueberry Hunt (Hurá na borůvky!, 2017), Truffles! (Na lanýže!, 2019), and Hooray! Fairy Tales! (Hurá na pohádky!, 2019).
