Biography
Arnaud Demuynck graduated in literature and film at the Université libre de Bruxelles. He first worked as a producer and screenwriter. As a director he made himself known by the short film Sluis (2000), then got involved in animation and his collaboration with other directors has resulted in more than a dozen short films, e.g. The Scent of Carrots (2013), Counting Sheep (2014) and The Wind in the Reeds (2015). In 2017 Arnaud Demuynck worked on his first full length animated film, Yuku and the Himalayan flower. Anais Sorrentino studied animation in the French animation schools ESAAT and Supinfocom. Her graduation film Parque was codirected with Celine Boivin. She then worked for video games, as a 3D animator at Hydravision Entertainment, and then as head of the Animation Department of Mighty Rocket Studio. She came back to direct animated short films in 2014.This film is a part of the set Matilda and other animations.
