Biography
Screenwriter and director from China. He graduated from Nanjing University and the Beijing Film Academy. He holds a leadership position in the Chinese Film Directors Association. He’s won international awards for his work. Of his works, we'll mention In Their Teens (豆蔻年華, 1989), The Old Old House (風雨故園, 1991), Heart of Ice (破冰, 2008), Age of Glory (鋼鐵，是這樣煉成的, 2015), and You’ll Never Walk Alone (破门, 2018).
