Satellite Boy (2012)
Ten-year-old Australian native Pete lives with his grandfather Jagamarra in an abandoned outdoor cinema in Wyndham after his mother abandons him. When their home is in danger of demolition, Pete sets out to town with his friend Kalmain to save the last thing they have left - their world in untouched nature. The boys travel across Kimberley, an impressive area of Western Australia, and get lost in the bush. Hunger and thirst push Pete to appreciate some of the traditional skills needed to survive in the bush taught to him by his grandfather.

Biography
Australian screenwriter and director. She graduated from the AFTRS film and TV school in Sydney and has worked many years in television, where she works mainly on making series. Among others, she's directed The Third Note (2000), Road (2004), Mr. Patterns (2004) and Satellite Boy (2012).
