Wild Flowers (2000)
A visual feast based the poems of Karel J. Erben, centered on three horror poems: The Water Goblin, Wedding Shirt, and The Golden Spinning Wheel. It is complemented by the poems Wild Flowers, The Noon Witch, The Daughter's Curse, and Christmas Eve. Several elements bind the work: each part starts with a view of the Czech countryside with motifs of various ceremonies (e.g. May pole, wedding, funeral) and ends with the snuffing of one of 7 candles.
