Awlad (2020)
The story of four refugee children in four different countries describing their daily struggle to obtain a formal education. A quarter of the global population of school age live in war zones or disaster areas. Fewer than one in four under-age refugees attends secondary school. Only one in twenty enrolls in university. Less than two per cent of global humanitarian aid is spent on education. BIOGRAPHY Journalists working in crisis areas. They mainly cover issues related to migration and refugees, focusing on women's rights and children's education. They co-directed their first documentary, Awlad (2019).
