Biography
Monika Tenhündfeld (*09/27/83) is an award-winning director / character animator from Vogt, Germany. From 2010 till 2016 she studied at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, where she graduated in 2016. Before she started to work in the movie sector, she graduated an apprenticeship as a painter and decorator. From 2006 to 2010 she studied communication design at the HTWG in Konstanz where she got an award for her work "Annual Report 2009" from the Junior ADC in 2008. Her first short film “I need more RED!” (Ich brauch mehr Rot!) received the award for “Best Animation” at the Bamberger Kurzfilmtage on January 2012, "Second Audience Award" at the Rüsselsheimer Filmtage as well as "Award for the best concept" at the Shortynale Klosterneuburg.
