Biography
Petr Vodička (born in 1974) Czech theatre and radio scriptwriter and director who focuses on children´s productions. One after the other, he completed the first year at faculties of of nuclear physics, medicine and humanity studies before becoming addicted to puppet theatre - and thus went to study at DAMU (The Academy of Performing Arts in Prague) from where he graduated. He has worked with leading Czech theatres, e.g. Prague´s Minor Theatre. He has written and directed several plays for (publicly funded) Czech Radio, e.g. ´Babe and her Parrot´ which was awarded the Prix Bohemia.´Charlie the Snowman´s Christmas Wedding´ is his film debut.
