In the course of the film, she tries to both resurrect a thriving business and win the heart of the wealthy Vladimír (Nový), who is suffering in his relationship with the elegant Milada (Mandlová). The popularity of this comedy from the First Republic is rooted in a masterfully told story as well as in the harmony of the lead actors, who were given a lot of space to demonstrate their comedic talent.
