Score:
An observational story about how a particular person can dramatically change the lives of a typical teenager – and how such an adult can also change under the influence of his pupils. This is a film about transformation, discovering passion, and forever having a positive impact on a child's approach to learning and life... All the protagonists have been observed for three years through the ages 12-15, at the most important moment in their development. And in so many ways their development has been atypical. During their very first lesson they heard that they should throw away their textbooks. Then it got even stranger, with 12-year-olds from a small Polish town attempting to build satellite sail test models, inspired by a group of professional engineers...

In the summer of 2017, young hockey players from Náchod in East Bohemia went to faraway Morocco, where they experienced the most fun training camp of their careers. They came not only to play hockey, but also to get to know the local people and their way of life up close. A few months later, the hockey players from Salé, Morocco, headed to the Czech Republic to experience the same thing in reverse. The result is a lively dialogue between two different cultures, full of various little surprises and liberating humor. Did the Czechs learn to bargain in Morocco? Did the hockey superpower confirm that reputation? Did Moroccans get halal meat in Bohemia? Did they understand what offside means? BIOGRAPHY Pojar studied political philosophy, law and ethics at Charles University. He co-directed the film FC Roma (2016) and the TV series The Magnificent Five (Pět statečných, 2018); he himself made the film Breaking News (Mimořádná zpráva, 2018).
