During WWII in a small Albanian village, little Tomka, the oldest among his young friends, plays daily on the riverbank until the Nazis invade the playground. In a small Serbian enclave in Kosovo lives 10-year-old Nenad together with his father Vojislav and his sick grandfather Milutin.
