Liyana is a young, fictional girl created by several young orphans in Swaziland, where the scourge of AIDS has ravaged the population, leaving hundreds of thousands of children to fend for themselves. In a storytelling workshop, the youngsters learn to create a central character for their story, then draw on their own – often ghastly and horrifying – true-life experiences to create an exciting adventure for their heroine, which relies on her bravery, cleverness and sheer determination.
Our legendary heroes are here again and bring new adventures. Mr. Spejbl works as a watchman at the Puppet Museum, which is in danger of being demolished. Harvie again disobeys and manages to get into the locked areas of the museum where he discovers a world hidden from visitors. In this underground world he uncovers the mystery of the magic museum and the key to its rescue. Harvie faces the greatest challenge of his life; he must be clever, crafty, and brave in order to save the "tatulda", the magical museum, and the whole city from the criminal Lord of Puppets.
Lila, a character in a children's story book, suddenly falls out of her paper world and ends up trapped in a place she doesn't belong. Lila discovers that the only person who can save her is Ramon, the owner of the book, but it won’t be easy since Ramon is no longer a little boy, and he has stop reading and believing in fantasy. Lila and her new friend Manuela set out to convince him of what's happening and together they face a dangerous journey to the Desert of Lost Memories, to retrieve Lila's lost book.
