Lila, a character in a children's story book, suddenly falls out of her paper world and ends up trapped in a place she doesn't belong. Lila discovers that the only person who can save her is Ramon, the owner of the book, but it won’t be easy since Ramon is no longer a little boy, and he has stop reading and believing in fantasy. Lila and her new friend Manuela set out to convince him of what's happening and together they face a dangerous journey to the Desert of Lost Memories, to retrieve Lila's lost book.

On the first day, Patterson even stuffs all kinds of plants in his backpack to make sure Raf has enough to eat. When Patterson realizes Raf isn’t going to join him at school, he comes up with a brilliant plan to bring Raf to school.

The main protagonist is a clumsy and overweight teenager called Jitka Pažoutová. Her P.E. classes, run by the friendly teacher nicknamed Bohoušek, are pure torture for her. Things take a turn for the better when, during a dodge ball game, the girls win due to Jitka's "cannon shots", which are just impossible to catch. At a tournament, Jitka meets Honza Koubek. Even though he offends her at first, he apologies and convinces her to take advantage of her strength for the shot put.

When Misha takes two Angora rabbits, a starling, a monkey, a tortoise and a small crocodile from school, his parents order him to take them away. He is helped by Kate, who lives with her grandfather, a violinist. She offers to hide them in the bedroom and bathroom. Misha heads for his friend's house, where the animals will probably be able to stay, while Kate provides live mice and sausages for the crocodile. Meanwhile, Kate's younger sister Minka wakes up, starts playing with the animals, who gradually run off. It's a big city menagerie.

The composer Zdeněk Liška contributed the music to dozens of Czechoslovak films. His unmistakable writing was appreciated by film directors and they respected him as a co-author of their work. When composing for a symphonic orchestra, a brass band, the strings, or piano, he used all kinds of instruments, as well as electronics and sound effects. His music accompanies a number of classic Czechoslovak films. The portrait of the ingeniously diverse Liška responds to the current rising international interest in him.

The film tells the story of a small Czech boy, František Bureš, freed by the Soviet Army from a Nazi concentration camp, who ends up fighting with Czechoslovak soldiers at the Dukla Pass. The story takes place in a small village at the foot of forested mountains in northern Iran, and follows the moving story of Asghar's family. He, his sister Roja, and grandmother take care of his sick father. He suffers from a disorder caused by gas during the Iraq war, and the siblings do everything to take care of him. The whole area suffers from a persistent rain that causes a flood and pulls down the bridge. The only route into town is closed and Asghar can't get a new oxygen tank. His grandmother tells of a legend that says if anyone finds forty bald men and hangs a list of their names on a tree, the rain will stop. The humorous search for bald guys is linked to the dramatic events of Asghar's life. This brave boy, as the temporary head of the family, must deal not only with a natural disaster, but also with problems with a classmate, an older sister's suitor, and a surprising family secret.
