Every year, the elves bring us a new spring. Tim is new, and while distracted at a fair, he wanders away from the other elves and is captured by Samuel and Vlad, who use him as a circus attraction. When six-year-old Teresa visits the fair, she discovers Tim in an exhibit and becomes infatuated with him. With her, Tim finds an opportunity to escape. He hides in Teresa’s house and the two experience several adventures, becoming inseparable friends. Over time, Tim begins to transform. He has been away from his world and his people for too long.
