Every year, the elves bring us a new spring. Tim is new, and while distracted at a fair, he wanders away from the other elves and is captured by Samuel and Vlad, who use him as a circus attraction. When six-year-old Teresa visits the fair, she discovers Tim in an exhibit and becomes infatuated with him. With her, Tim finds an opportunity to escape.
