Eleven-year-old Lukas and his mother get into a car accident that results in his and his mom’s hospitalization. When it turns out Lukas’ mom is in a coma, the boy must be taken care of by his only relative – aunt Agatha, whom he gets to meet for the first time in his life. Agatha brings the boy to her own guesthouse by the seaside and places him in a room his mom used to live in. It’s the room where Lukas accidently discovers a secret passage to a different dimension and soon learns what amazing and yet frightening mysteries the newly disclosed world hides. The blue door in his room is a gate to different reality. There he will have to face his fears, loneliness, helplessness and longings.

Lais, wants to meet her father, whom her mother refers to "the deceased", though Lais believes he's still alive. When Lais receives a tip about her father's possible whereabouts, she and Lucas set off to find him. Travelling a long distance and encountering many challenges on the way, their journey becomes an inspiring demonstration of the power of friendship, teamwork, and inner strength.

When Bart saves her life, Amelie realizes that Bart is actually a lot cooler than she first thought. Learning of Amelie’s illness, Bart tells her about an old tradition happening that time of year: the Alp Mountain Fires. These Alp Mountain Fires are miracles, which allegedly help cure the sick: humans and animals. Now on a mission to get to the fires in time, the kids take off on an adventurous journey of hope and true friendship.

Broňa and Jirka arrive with their parents to visit their grandfather only to find him lying in bed and refusing to get up. Children find that behind his alleged illness is his longing for their grandmother, who recently died. They decide to cure him, but they don't have much success. Their parents see but one solution – send their grandfather to a hospital. Neither the kids nor their grandfather like this idea, so they run away together. The secret trip does their grandfather good, but then a stray dog appears and indirectly causes him and his wheelchair to end up in a pond. Though the kids can't swim, they jump in after him. We'll see who actually has to save them in the end...

Elina's mother, sister, and a young liberal teacher are trying get the media involved in this conflict, but young Elina runs away out into some dangerous bogs seeking solace in imaginary conversations with her dead father.
