Meral (8) just moved into a new town. She tries to make friends at her new school before their autumn school camp, but this is harder than expected. At home she befriends a little mouse that lives in her new room, which she calls Peepeep. Afraid that her parents will kill Peepeep while she is away, she secretly takes him with her. Thanks to the mouse, Meral makes some unexpected new friends. When an owl catches the little mouse, Meral blames her new friends. It is not until they set out into the wild to retrieve the owl pellet with Peepeep’s bones that Meral finally understands what friendship is all about.

Vesterman has found a young seal in his fishing nets in the outskirts of the archipelago. When he comes back to the Saltkråkan island, he gives the seal to Tjorven, who names it Moses. Peter Malm, a visitor who works at the Zoological Institute in Uppsala, wants to buy the seal, but Tjorven says it's not for sale. Vesterman is in need of money and tries to get the seal back, to sell it to Peter. The children have to hide the seal, so he won't find it. Pelle's rabbit Jocke and one of Söderman's lambs are found bitten to death. The dog Båtsman is accused of those evil deeds and must be put down. What is to be the fate of Moses and Båtsman.

They are all sure that up there they will find fabulous treasures and the fulfillment of their dreams. Petter Lennstrand's life-sized puppets are already well known to Swedish TV viewers. In his debut feature film, his cheeky, unconventional characters tell a tale of friendship and the meaning of seemingly unimportant things.

In search of the best photo for the school competition, four teenagers head to remote hills where the competition for awards turns into a struggle for survival. Manc, who leads the group, has been accused of stealing a phone and consequently might be expelled from school. Schoolmates Mina, Oto and Spurc join him on this trip. Mina, a spoiled, stubborn city girl, breaks first in this foreign environment, but luckily Oto is there for her. He’s a rational boy who is in love with her. With them into this pristine wilderness has also come Spurc, who has been golden-spoon-fed all his life; he turns into a cowardish spoiled-child. In the end, Manc is the one who safely guides them back home.

Despite a warm welcome, Niilas retreats inward. The only one who can get through to him is his half-sister Sunnà. The reindeer migration is fully underway and Niilas has to lend a helping hand. When a reindeer goes missing, Niilas joins in the search, and an impressive moose keeps crossing his path at the most unexpected moments. Gradually he discovers his roots, which prove to be stronger than he ever could have imagined. Against all odds, Niilas experiences the most adventurous summer of his life.
